Healthcare Security
Healthcare institutions such as hospitals from a public perspective are naturally safe, warm, and welcoming institutions where life-saving healthcare is provided to patients who are in the process of healing and recovering. The security needs of hospitals and healthcare centers are very real and essential to ensuring this safe environment is able to be maintained and flows the way it should, without any disruptions.
One major security threat are abductions and theft. Patient information and prescription pills are two assets that hospitals store large amounts of and are thus a target for theft. Abduction, especially child abduction, is another very real threat that must have a zero-tolerance approach taken. Protecting our most vulnerable citizens should be the number one priority of every hospital, and ultimately every society. That means having proven security systems and reliable, trained personnel.
Another security threat to hospitals and healthcare centers are physical attacks on staff members. A staggering number of nurses – as much as 55.5% – reported having been a victim of workplace violence according to a study conducted by the Emergency Nurses Association. Not only is this unfair and unacceptable to hospital staff- who should be provided with the safest, most efficient environment to work in- it is unfair to the patients, who deserve the undivided and best attention and care from hospital staff without any disruptions or chaos. Pulmus7 has the knowledge, know-how, technology, and experience to handle any and every threat that faces healthcare centers. We would be happy to serve any security need you may have, with the one common goal being to provide a safe, secure place for all.
